NLP, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, is a revolutionary study of the process of human thought. In other words, it’s the study of what is going on when people think. It is also defined as the study of the structure of subjective experience, which is what we notice if we look at the step-by-step activity of thinking. If we open the brain surgically, we will not find the mind and because we do not have a User’s Manual for the brain. NLP is an understanding – not of the brain – but of how the mind using the brain expresses itself in life and creates what is called experience. NLP is the art and science of human excellence that has also been called the “New Technology of Achievement,” and that is just the start. It allows those who use it to uncover their mental strategies related to communication, goal setting, decision-making, and much more. Learning it will make it easier to notice how thoughts and patterns affect the day-to-day experience and how to change that personally or when working with others. The combination of the methodologies taught in this course will equip those who use them in the right context to improve or change what is not working in that context in a more efficient way. Of course, as with everything, this will only be possible with understanding, practice, questioning, and trial and error, which is what is aimed at how this course is structured. The aim at the end of the course is not only to know the theory but also the application and evidence-based results for coaching and change work professionals.

Roni has trained with some of the most recognized NLP Trainers in the world, like Tad & Adriana James, Robert Dilts, Tim & Kris Halbom, Suzi Smith, Richard Bolstad, Julia Kurusheva, & Carol Talbot. Roni has also trained with Nick Kemp, the creator of Provocative Change Works, and Andrew T. Austin, the creator of Metaphors of Movement & Integral Eye Movement Therapy. This is one of the few programs in Lebanon that provides insights into the applications of NLP in various contexts. The focus of the training will be on creating evidence-based change that will help those who go through the course develop more critical thinking on what to apply, when, and where. The focus on psychoeducation and understanding between what constitutes a therapy and change work issue, support and care issue, or training issue helps the individual know when to take on clients and when to refer to those who can help them best.
